MUMBAI : Television actress Rupal Patel has come a lot way in her career.

She has been a part of various daily soaps and they have been the most watched on television. As a mother-in-law, the audience has loved watching her. She has gained immense fame playing the strict and disciplinarian mother-in-law who has a set of rules and may even get you in trouble if you rub her in the wrong way.

As Kokila Modi in Saath Nibhana Saathiya, she gained massive fame so much that recently, there was a meme circulating around the internet titled ‘Rasode mein kaun tha’. Currently, she is seen as Meenakshi in Star Plus show Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke and her character is strong in the show.

In conversation with a media portal, Rupal revealed that she is not like her on-screen characters in real life. She said that the characters that she plays on television are very strong but in real life, she is a soft hearted person.
