Read about Mrunal’s dramatic EXIT from Kumkum Bhagya

The very bubbly and chirpy Mrunal Thakur, who ruled millions of hearts as Bulbul on Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya (Balaji Telefilms), will soon make an exit from the show. The actress has already shot for her exit sequence and it’s going to be dramatic. At Bulbul and Purab’s marriage reception, Bulbul would overhear someone planning to kill Pragya. The person would turn out be Aliya, which Bulbul wouldn’t be aware of. During the function, Aliya would set the chandelier on fire and make Pragya stand exactly below it. But Bulbul would notice this and push Pragya away. But, but… the chandelier would crash on Bulbul’s face. She would be quickly rushed to a hospital for plastic surgery. That’s how Mrunal Thakur would pave way for Kajol Shrivastava. How innovative! We buzzed Mrunal to know about her journey in the show. She shared, “It was a great experience working with the team. It was twenty months’ journey, which had lot of ups and downs but I enjoyed working with the entire cast and crew.” Being such a great show, why did you chose to quit it? “I am a very selfish actor and I pay importance to performance. I was not happy the way my character was shaping up, hence I decided to quit.” What do you have to say about the new Bulbul? “I am sure she would be great as I read somewhere that she would play the in her own style and not try to imitate me. I am also jealous that she would get to work with the best cast.” Also with rumours doing rounds of Mrunal being part of Salman Khan’s next Sultan, the actress clarified. “It’s totally false. I don’t know how this rumours started. I would like to thank people for promoting me, but the news is absolutely untrue.” All the best, Mrunal!
