KOLKATA:  TellyChakkar had earlier reported that Colors Bangla is launching a new soap called Aloy Bhuvan Bhora, which is based on the journey of a girl who is an acid attack survivor. We had also reported that the Premer Kahini fame actress Roshni Bhattacharya is playing the female lead. Now we bring the other cast and crew details of the upcoming show.  

Actor Uday Pratap Singh is playing the male lead. The name of his character is Tirtha Bhattacharya. Interestingly, Uday made his television debut with the Colors Bangla show Tumi Ele Tai, wherein he played the lead role. In between, he was seen in supporting roles in serials like Devi Pokkho and Jamai Raja and played the hero in a short film called The Bonfire Night.

Ace actress Dolon Roy is playing the role of Alaka Majumder, female lead’s mother. She will play an important role in motivating and boosting the confidence of Roshni’s character. Judhajit Bannerjee is playing the role of Sukomol Majumder, Roshni’s father.   

Popular actor Bharat Kaul is essaying male lead’s father, Nilkamal Bhattacharya, who is a politician. Dhrubo Sarkar will be seen as the older brother of the male lead. Dhrubo’s character Arya Bhattacharya will add lots of twists to the story.

Actors Rani and Jayashree Kaul are also part of this project. They are playing the roles of Neelima Bhattacharya and Kamalika Bhattacharya respectively.

Biswajit Ganguly is directing this show while Saswati Ghosh is the story writer and Debasis Das is the DOP.

Produced by Surinder Films, Aloy Bhubon Bhora will start airing from 14 May and air every day at 8 pm.
