MUMBAI: Many shows are returning to television with new seasons, and fans are excited to watch their favourite shows in a new avatar. 

In the recent past, some shows have come out with season two with the same star cast, while others have a completely new team.

The recent show to join the season 2 brigade is Colors' popular show Sasural Simar Ka, which had Dipika Kakar and Dheeraj Dhoopar in lead roles. 

In the recent promo of the show, Dipika tells the audiences about Simar coming back and how excited she is. 

Fans are also excited to watch the show again, but whether Dipika has a full-fledged role in it is not clear yet. 

As per media reports, the serial has gotten its launch date and telecast time. 

The show is all set to be launched on the 26 April 2021 and will be aired on television at 6:30 PM, though there is no confirmation about the same.

Well, season 1 was quite successful on television, and Dipika, who essayed the role of Simar, had become a household name through it.

Shoaib, who was initially the lead, quit midway owing to a personal issue, and Dheeraj Dhoopar stepped into his shoes. Moreover, even Dipika, after playing Simar for 4 years, had quit the show. Kerti Kelkar had replaced her. 

The audiences are super excited to watch season 2.
