Young lad Rohan Mehra, who essayed the lead in the movie Sixteen, and Srishti Rindani of Yeh Jawani Ta Ra Ri Ri fame will feature in this weekend’s story of Yeh Hai Aashiqui on Disney Bindass. The episodic will be produced by BBC Worldwide Productions.
‘Opposites attract’, and this is exactly how the two central characters in this plot will get into a classy love tale.
Rohan will essay the role of Amar, the very focussed, goal-oriented guy for whom nothing in the world can distract him from making a name for himself. On the other hand, there will be this girl Udita, played by Srishti who would live in this typical dream world of astrology and sun signs and would keep looking for her Mr. Perfect from amongst her many boyfriends. Amar and Udita would bump into each other many a times over a phase of five years, through which they would realize that they are made for each other, even though they are poles apart.
When contacted, Rohan Mehra told Tellychakkar.com, “I had a great time shooting for Yeh Hai Aashiqui, and the best part was to work with a director like Nissar Parvez who can make any challenging role look easy. I had to don three different looks in my three days of shoot for the episodic, and I have tried my best with different hair styles. Working with BBC was a good experience, as they have shot it just like a movie. I had stopped doing episodics as I have been busy with movies. But this was one role which I could not refuse, for the challenge it gave me.”
