MUMBAI: Farhat Naz, 41 years old who hails from Raebareli is a teacher in Madrasa. This week on KBC, she will be seen as a promising contestant on the Hot Seat. She wants people to know that the education provided in Madrasas is as good in comparison to other public schools. She has seen a lot of change and growth in her 12 years of teaching career in Madrasa and want people to not consider madrasas any less.

A mother of 3, lives with her in-laws whereas her husband stays in Saudi. She was married when she was 18 years old and could not complete her graduation because of her marriage. After her marriage she could not take up a government job of a teacher as she was not a graduate hence, she decided to complete her studies and currently she is in the second year of her MA.

With the money she wins on KBC, Farhat intents to open a School for children from the lower strata of the society, welcoming students from all communities, who can receive free education.
