MUMBAI : According to a leading daily, the makers of the second season of the popular show ‘Saas Bina Sasural’ have roped in seasoned actors, Darshan Jariwala and Rajendra Chawla, for the new edition.

The two were also a part of the inaugural season. While Rajendra played Pashupatinath Chaturvedi, Darshan portrayed the role of Cheddilal Anandilal Chaturvedi.

A source informed Times Of India, “We are in the process of finalising the rest of the cast. Our attempt is to retain as many actors as possible from the original show, since they struck a chord with the audience. It will go on floors very soon.”

Darshan told the daily, "Yes, I have been approached for the show. You will have to wait and watch to know if I will reprise the role or not. What piqued my interest about this role is that it’s different. My character is a tech-savvy guy. At his age, he has discovered and taken a penchant for the fun aspect of the world of the internet. His physical age has nothing to do with the way he thinks and outlook towards life."
