Talented actor Satyajit Sharma, best known as Basant of Balika Vadhu will return to TV space after his stint in Bal Gopal Kare Dhamaal on Big Magic. 

The actor will play a pivotal role in Bindu Pictures’ upcoming Sony TV show, titled Ek Duje Ke Vaaste. 

Bindu Pictures will be the first project of writer Dilip Jha as Producer. Dilip as we know, has been the writer/screenplay writer for many popular Balaji Telefilms shows, Bade Acche Laggte Hain and Kyaa Hua Tera Vaada being the recent ones. 

Satyajit will play the father of the male lead, Namik Paul who was last seen playing the role of Ehsaan in Qubool Hai.

The promos of Ek Duje Ke Vaaste hit TV screens yesterday, and as per the promo, Nikita Dutta of Dream girl fame will play the female protagonist while Namik will play the male lead. 

The story will trace the journey of good friends (Namik and Nikita) who have lost their friendship owing to a misunderstanding, and how the girl will want to clear the confusion and get the man back in her life after years... 

When contacted, Satyajit told us, “Yes, I am doing the show. However I will talk about it after few days.”

We hear that Satyajit will play the role of a successful lawyer, who would be living his dream of sending his well-educated lawyer son abroad to London, for further studies. 

The show is expected to go on floor very soon. It will launch in mid-February.
