Savdhaan India’s two crew members die in bike accident

Two crew members of the show Savdhaan India have passed away.

MUMBAI: According to the media reports, two crew members of the show Savdhaan India have passed away.

Pramod, who worked as an assistant art director, was killed in a bike accident which happened around 4.30 am on Saturday. The second person in question was another member of the unit, a helper who was sitting on the rear seat and also passed away. Dilip Pithwa, Former General Secretary of Art Directors' Association, when contacted by Times of India confirmed and said, "It is a terrible thing that we have lost Pramod in such a manner. It was a 7 am shoot from Friday which was stretched till 3.30 am for the next day. Pramod was there from the morning. We don't know the exact cause of the accident yet, though."

B N Tewari, President of Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) added that they are sending a letter to the channel enquiring about the long hours of the shift in question. "Rajesh Tripathi will also be addressed. The letter is being typed. It will also be sent to the channel's OTT platform."

Tripathi, when contacted, said, "Yes, my shoot got extended. We had some problems on the shoot owing to which the long stretch happened."
