News of Smriti Kalra leaving her show Suvreen Guggal – Topper of the Year on Channel [V] came as a big shocker for the loyal fans of the show. With a Season 3 on cards, this popular show produced by Fable Tree Pictures and 4 Lions Films will wrap up by November end or December beginning (2013). With this, the journey of Suvreen Guggal will come to an end. And as per a reliable source, Suvreen’s main motto in the climax of Season 2 will be to get Rehaan Charles (Mohit Malik) back on his chair. She will want to give back Iris to him, for whatever he has done for her so far. However, post this development there will be a major turning point in the story line. A source tells us that the show will be back in the near future with a Season 3, the story for which is in the planning stage right now. The show will go through a major revamp, wherein the protagonist and the show’s name will change. The journey of Suvreen Guggal had to meet its end as the show is presently titled on her. With Smriti deciding to leave, the makers were left with no option but to change the girl, as nobody wanted to let this show go off air, including the channel. But the final decision that has been taken is to rather end the journey of Suvreen. Thus, Season 3 will see the journey of another character from the gang and it will also go for a name change.
