Veteran actress Shashi Sharma has been class apart when it comes to essaying the role of Dadi in Star Plus’ Suhani Si Ek Ladki (Panorama Entertainment). The character of Dadi has always gotten a strong foothold in every track that comes by in the show.

And as always, Dadi will play a crucial role in the track that is waiting to open up, with the twin wedding celebrations happening in the family.

However, Shashi Sharma has been on a forced break from the show, owing to certain personal reasons.

A source states, “The actress has not been shooting from the 12^th of this month. Her husband met with a road accident, and suffered injury in the brain. He is now on the road to recovery, and all is well.”

When contacted, Shashi Sharma told us, “Yes, I have been out of action for sometime now. I will resume shoot from 25^th of this month. My husband is thankfully alright now and we are out of hospital.”

As we know, the weddings of Yuvraj (Sahil Mehta) and Soumya (Neha Yadav), Suhani (Rajshri Rani) and Sambhav (Alekh Sangal) are about to take place. And the creatives have been working on filler tracks to accommodate the absence of Shashi. The wedding shoot will start once the actress is back in action.
