I t is like a dream come true for The Great Indian Laughter Challenge 2 contestant Khayali, as the waif thin stand-up comedian has done a movie titled One Fine Monday with the actor who he simply adores Shekhar Suman.
Talking about the movie, Khayali says, “The story is based on the movie Munnabhai. Shekhar ji is essaying the role of Munnabhai (Sanjay Dutt) and I will play the role of Circuit (Arshad Warsi). My character is that of an illiterate chap who writes all his boss’ appointments on his hand. It is a story of a bhai (Shekhar Suman) who wants to adopt a civil life but circumstances that crop-up do not let him give away his bhaigiri.”
“This is just a one day story which will show the happenings in the lives of the characters that take place on Monday,” adds the comedian.
Mannu Chaubey, writer and director, says, “This is a comedy of its own kind. It is about a don who promises his father on his death bed that he will give up his bad ways but how ever hard he tries to reform himself he doesn’t succeed because of circumstances.”
The movie is expected to release in the month of June.
