Shoaib Ibrahim is well-known and respected for the person he is in real life more than just an actor. The Sasural Simar Ka star symbolises a family man, a devoted father, a loving husband, and a responsible son. He is married to actress Dipika Kakar and the couple welcomed their baby boy on 21st June, and named him Ruhaan.

Dipika and Shoaib are very popular for their vlogs and keep sharing anecdotes from their life and work. Shoaib revealed recently that while his mom wanted him to become an actor his dad wanted to see him as an engineer. Interestingly, he revealed that in 2007-2008, he auditioned for Rajan Shahi's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. However he said that he was thrown out of the auditions. He reportedly tried out for Karan Mehra's role in the show. He said he was heard but was determined to fulfil his dream of becoming an actor.
