Seems like the popular series Thapki (SOL and Shoonya Productions) is a hotbed for controversies.

A month back Tellychakkar.com had exclusively reported about violence on the sets of the show wherein a director had reportedly hit his AD leading to a chaos.

Now, exclusive information that a couple of days back on Saturday (1 August), cops were summoned on the set post a ruckus between an actor and the production unit.

Here is a lay down of what all transpired...

Actress Shrashti Maheshwari aka Sakshi had put down her paper sometime back and was serving the last days of her notice period. On Saturday, the girl was reportedly harrassed by some from the production team after a tiff over her shooting schedules This is when the girl called the police to save her from this alleged ill treatment wherein she was abused and mistreated by these production guys.

Interestingly, no case was filed and the actress chose to send off the cops after they gathered the team and gave them a strict warning.

But this incident did leave the other cast and crew shocked and disturbed. Luckily both the parties decided to sit and discuss the matter and let go the issues.

When we called Srashti, she said, "The issues with some of the production guys had been scaling and I had enough. I wanted to safeguard my honour and thus called the cops. With their arrival issues got solved and as a true professional I completed my shoot. I am no longer associated with the show, and thus don't want to get into the details of the entire fight."

We also buzzed Producer Ved Raj who also confirmed the happening and said, "Srashti was in contract with us when she suddenly went ahead and signed another show. Since we had planned a lot for the character it came as a shock to the team. And although she still had some days left for shoot, she did not want to be around anymore. That day she got into a fight with one of the production guys and in a fit of anger dialled 100 and police did reach the sets. But finding the case to be too irrelevant they got both of them to sort their differences. We believe in respecting everyone associated with us, and this surely was an uncalled event but gladly it got sorted peacefully."

Phew! Too much off screen drama we must say!!!
