MUMBAI: Indian Idol 12 judge Vishal Dadlani is not returning to the show just yet. The music composer, who has been the Indian Idol judge for over three seasons, said that he is not coming back till the state unlocks.

He said, "Not till the quasi lockdown is done with.'' Vishal did not travel with the Indian Idol team when they moved to Daman for the shooting of the show.

Show's host Aditya Narayan had given the real reason for not coming back on the set. He said, "Vishal shifted to Lonavala last year and he has shifted with his parents. He didn’t want to drive all the way from Lonavala to Daman and come back to potentially infect his parents as he is being extra careful because of his parents. I completely support that. If you have doubt then you should go with your instincts especially during these times.''

The other judges Himesh Reshammiya and Neha Kakkar have been making guest appearances on their show and both apparently have personal reasons for not being there.

Manoj Muntashir and Anu Malik filled in for both of them. The team of Indian Idol 12 has shot enough content for one month and returned to Mumbai and are now waiting for Uddhav Thackeray to allow shooting permissions.
