SHOCKING! Paras Kalnawat's father dies of a massive heart attack; team Anupamaa rushes to the hospital 

MUMBAI: Paras Kalnawat's father died after suffering a massive cardiac arrest today (March 27). Paras, who plays Samar Shah on Anupamaa, was shooting on the sets when his mother called him to inform him that his father is being rushed to the hospital.

According to a source who was present on the sets of Anupamaa, Paras Kalnawat received his mother's call at around 1.30 pm. She was profusely crying on the call. She informed him that his father was being rushed to the hospital after he collapsed in the lift. After disconnecting the call, Paras too the production team's bike and rushed to the hospital. Along with Paras, the entire cast and crew, including Rupali Ganguli, Sudhanshu Pandey and others, also left for the hospital. However, when Paras reached the hospital, his father had already breathed his last.

Paras Kalnawat had recently recovered from the novel coronavirus and resumed the shoot of Anupamaa. The actor was excited to get back to work after a break. In an interview, the actor had also said that he is glad that his father has tested negative for the novel coronavirus as he is diabetic and had recently undergone angiography.

Paras Kalnawat made his acting debut with Meri Durga in 2017. He has been a part of shows like Mariam Khan: Reporting Live and Dil Hi Toh Hai. Paras rose to fame with Anupamaa, where he plays Rupali Ganguly's son. The show is topping the rating chart for months now.
