MUMBAI: As discussed earlier, many of our Hindi entertainment industry's telly and film stars happen to be extremely talented both on the grounds of acting as well as in their other respective fields of expertise which are mostly not known to all.
One of such skills is culinary art, a skill known to please our souls to it's fullest potential.
Many of our popular television and Bollywood personalities possess great cooking skills as they've been spotted hosting cookery shows in mainstream cookery as well as in other entertainment channels. Some of these people have even cooked and presented their own and unique dishes before the show's audience for them to try it out at home.
Let's take a note of these mainstream actors (from both television and Bollywood worlds) who have hosted some of the Indian cookery shows:
1. Gurdeep Kohli
Sanjivini fame Gurdeep Kohli She is hosting her own cooking program named Bacha Party and ABC (All 'Bout Cooking) on Zee Khana Khazana. She focussed on cooking dishes (like spring rolls and cutlets of various ingredients) that were pretty much tasty as well as healthy for kids (in specific)
2. Farah Khan
Bollywood film director Farah Khan used to host a cookery show named Farah Ki Dawat, wherein various celebrities were invited, who showcase their cooking skills while preparing their favourite dishes and shared their kitchen secrets with the host.
3. Maria Georetti
Arshd Warsi's wife Maria Goretti Warsi was initially an Indian MTV VJ. Later, she hosted two of her most important cookery shows on television, including Do It Sweet on the NDTV Good Times and I Love Cooking on Living Foodz. The latter still streams on OTT platform Zee5.
4. Amrita Raichand
Actress-turned-celebrity chef Amrita Raichand started off in the culinary field as the judge of Punjab De SuperChef 4, which aired on PTC Punjabi. Thenfter, the former actress hosted the Hindi cookery show Mummy Ka Magic which aired on channel Food Food. In 2018, she also judged the reality cooking show India's Digital Chef along with Saransh Goila and Sanjeev Kapoor.
5. Ritvik Dhajnani
Telly hottie Rithvik Dhajnani had hosted the unique cookery show Rasoi Ki Jung Mummyon Ke Sung that aired on Colors channel in late 2017. This show was a fun gastronomic experience of the popular TV stars with their mothers in the kitchen, wherein this duo showcased their cooking skills. In every case, it was proven that nobody could match the blissful taste of a mother's handmade food.
6. Arjun Bijlani
It's known to almost everybody by now that telly fame Arjun Bijlani's primary hobby is spending time in the kitchen while trying out his culinary skills. He hosted the Colors cooking reality show Kitchen Champions. The show featured different TV characters who brought over their special recipes on the show.
