This week, the mercury shot straight up when the charming Pakinstani prince Fawad ‘Zaroon’ Khan and his on-screen lady love, the gorgeous fashionista, Sonam Kapoor landed up on the sets of Cine Stars Ki Khoj to promote their upcoming flick on the show. The duo made a grand entry and brought the house down with the judges Sonali Bendre, Victor, Anurag Basu and the contestants. The Saturday episode of Zee TV’s acting talent hunt show will see Fawad and Sonam judging the contestants on their acting and dancing abilities. Having followed the show, Sonam knew of contestant Akshay Nalawade’s exceptional dance ability. So when he walked onto the stage to be judged for his act, the glamorous actress immediately asked him to exhibit his skills but with a twist. Catching Akshay completely off guard, the diva asked him to do the famous towel dance actor Ranbir Kapoor had made headlines with in his debut film Saawariya. Akshay who was clad in a waist coat and a pair of jeans, at his favourite actress’s behest, instantly obliged. Draped in a white towel it was a spectacle to watch Akshay move to the iconic song ‘Jab se tere naina’ and struggle with the slipping towel. However the saving grace in his case was his jeans worn under the towel. His performance left the judges in splits and Sonam even decided to go on the stage and match steps with him. She later divulged that in the film Ranbir didn’t even have a jeans on and he dropped it at the end of the song, which clearly wasn’t allowed by the censor board. The female contestants on the show though looked distracted throughout the shoot. Well, the reason for this distraction was none other than the latest hot Pakistani import Fawad Khan, as the girls couldn’t take their eyes off him. To get an upper hand over the other female contestants, Oksana, the show’s Azerbaijan import came well prepared with her homework done. She shared with Fawad how both of them have similar tastes in films, with Anil Kapoor being their favourite actor and Mr India their favourite film. She later had no qualms in expressing her desire to shake a leg with the hunk on stage and recreate another iconic number Kaate Nahi kat te from their favourite film. Fawad, being the gentleman that he is, immediately obliged his fan. The actor who is known to be shy and reserved shed all his inhibitions and what we then saw on stage was a mere treat to the eyes. Oksana got into the character of the sultry and sensual Sridevi and sizzled on stage with Fawad. With some really sensuous moves, the duo set the stage on fire with their chemistry. The episode will air this weekend.
