MUMBAI: The reality Television show Bigg Boss has been one of the most loved and entertaining shows. The contestants come from all walks of life and from different platforms. Recently we saw how the current contestant Sajid Khan revealed about his disturned childhood and broke down. Well, there are many present as well as former contestants who have opened up about their past traumas and difficult childhood incidents. Here is a look at them;

Rashami Desai

The Uttaran actress revealed while inside the Bigg Boss house that her family had labeled her as a ‘cursed child’ and treated her unfairly. Her relationship with her mother only improved when Rashami entered Bigg Boss.

Arti Singh

The Thoda Hai Bas Thode Ki Zaroorat Hai actress revealed on the show that she was molested by her tutor as a child, while both were inside a closed room. She was so traumatised by the incident that she suffered a panic attack at 13.

Eijaz Khan

The Yeh Moh Moh Ke Dhaagey actor said he was molested as a child and that incident will never leave his mind. He also stated that is one of the reasons he is uncomfortable with other people’s touch. 

Shamita Shetty

The Mohabbatein actress revealed that she was always compared to her sister in everything she did from a young age and that affected her mental health greatly. She broke down on the show saying that she wished to have her own identity.

Sumbul Touqeer Khan

The Imlie actress shared that she was brought up by a single parent (father) and had to take care of her younger sister during the lockdown. She also stated that she has seen a lot in life from a young age and no one should take her for a fool. 

Sajid Khan

Filmmaker Sajid Khan got teary eyed while revealing on Bigg Boss that everyone keeps speaking about how he is privileged and lucky. But there was a time when they were not so well to do. He said, “when I was a teenager my dad passed away and I didn’t even have money for the funeral.. even my relatives didn’t help me.. the person who paid for my dad’s funeral was Salman Khan's father Salim Khan. I can never forget what Salim uncle did for me.”
