MUMBAI : Shailesh Lodha wears multiple hats. He is a poet, actor, comedian, and writer. He is known for playing the role of Taarak Mehta in India's longest running sitcom serial, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, since July 2008. Meanwhile, Dipika Chikhlia is known for playing Devi Sita in Ramanand Sagar's television series Ramayan. She was also known for her debut film Sun Meri Laila (1983) opposite Raj Kiran.
The two talented actors met up recently and had a conversation over a cup of coffee. It was a treat to see them in one frame.
Dipika posted their picture on social media and captioned it saying, "#shemaroo #rubaru #stars #shaileshlodha #chitchat #talk #communicate #speak #listen #sets #studio #mumbai. Chit chat over a cup of coffee :)." It seems that the two met for a talk show. Dipika looked graceful as ever in a dark green ethnic wear whereas Shailesh looked dapper in a white and black suit.

They said that no matter how much ever they tried to look at her as an actor but she always comes across as Goddess Sita to them.
For the unversed, Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan became the most viewed entertainment programme globally in March 2020. DD on which the show aired tweeted back then, "Rebroadcast of Ramayana on Doordarshan smashes viewership records worldwide, the show becomes most-watched entertainment show in the world with 7.7 crore viewers on 16th of April."
Meanwhile, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is based on the weekly column "Duniya Ne Undha Chasma" by Taarak Mehta in Chitralekha magazine. It is produced by Asit Kumar Modi. It revolves around the residents of a housing society who help each other find solutions when they face common, real-life challenges and get involved in sticky situations.
