MUMBAI: Ramayan – the historic mythological show may have made a come-back after a long time on your television screens, but the yesteryear show is here to stay and is going to continue to entertain you on your favourite leading Hindi GEC – Star Plus.

The show that gained and received many accolades over the years, is still receiving praises as the actors along with their viewers are going back in time to reminisce their glory days. Whilst, all the characters had their own fans and followers, they say the character of Ravan even while being a villainous role, was loved by all. The role essayed by the former legendary actor – Arvind Trivedi – the 83-year-old Gujarati superstar whose career spanned for more than 40 years, has his legacy continued even today in the industry.

Commenting on this Arvind Trivedi about his iconic role of Ravan in Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan he shared "I am overjoyed and thoroughly blessed with the response I am still getting, especially from the younger generation for my character Ravan. I feel thrilled when my granddaughter shows me the love I receive on social media. When I come across so much love and affection from everyone – it takes me back in time to right from my first ever scene in the show until the last shot. I would like to thank especially Star Plus to bring the show on their esteemed channel. Watching each scene right from the Sita Haran to my make-up, hair, costume and every detail to my character makes me feel honored and blessed to have worked with the most dedicated and disciplined team of producer, directors, artists, technicians and everyone who helped make this show.”

He further added, “I would like to take this opportunity to again thank my well-wishers and I wish and pray for everyones’ safety and good health in these trying times”
