'Sweet foibles' of Hrishikesh Mukherjee and Basu Chaterjee movies recreated with Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai...

Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai

Have you been an ardent lover of movies made by legendary directors, Hrishikesh Mukherjee and Basu Chaterjee?

Then you will have a reason enough to watch & TV’s sitcom, Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai

Produced by Edit II Productions, this show on the newly-launched channel portrays the na?ve follies of the society, much like the great directors’ films and does that without taking a moralistic stance.

Just like their films, the show depicts the society as it is, and does that by creating funny situations and funnier characters stuck in those situations. Similarly, Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai! takes a look at married couples who think their neighbours have everything better than them – the life and also the wife or husband in the women’s case. The characters in the show Angoori Devi (Shilpa Shinde), Manmohan Tiwari (Rohitashv Gaur), Anita (Saumya Tandon) and Vibhuti Narayan (Aasif Sheikh)  pretend to be what they are not and secretly pine for the next door’s spouse.

The story line dwells on the excuses that they take to talk to the one they have their mind set on, and land in comical situations each time.

If you want to witness a visual treat of sweet foibles of ace film makers, then don’t miss to watch & TV’s Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai, which recreates it on the small screen…
