MUMBAI: The episode starts with Jethalal narrating what happened during the day to his friends in Gokuldham Society, and explaining why it is essential to catch Sevaklal red-handed. Everyone volunteers to assist him in his noble endeavour. Bhide and Madhavi, Sodhi and Roshan, Iyer and Babita, Dr Hathi and Komal, Anjali, Popatlal, Tapu, Goli, and Goghi are determined to help Jethalal and Taarak in exposing the real face of Sevaklal, the corrupt politician.
For the unversed, Sevaklal visits Gada Electronics to order a thousand Titoo mobile phones and later places an additional order of five thousand handsets. Jethalal is delighted about the sales of six thousand pieces of mobile phones from his shop, and he shares the 'good news' with his father. Bapuji is happy but wishes to know why Sevaklal wants six thousand mobile phones a day before the city goes for polling.
Bapuji's concerns inspire Jethalal to find out the truth. With Taarak's help, Jethalal visits Sevaklal's office to find out the real purpose behind the purchase of mobile phones. Sevaklal reveals that he will distribute free mobiles to the people of Garib Nagar and in return buy votes. However, he warns Jethalal of dire consequences if he would reveal the truth to anyone.
To catch Sevaklal red-handed, Popatlal comes up with an idea. He says that they can record a video of Sevaklal distributing free mobile phones and send it across to the Election commission. And to execute the plan, Babita says that they must visit Garib Nagar dressed like poor people.
Taarak informs a TV reporter about the sting operation, and she helps them with micro cameras with inbuilt microphones. She asks everyone dressed like poor people to fix the camera to their dress. Meanwhile, Popatlal speaks with an officer from the Election Commission to inform them about Sevaklal's agenda. Thus, Gokuldham Ki Toli gears up to expose Sevaklal to save the nation from corrupt politicians.
