The makers of Zee TV’s Mehek have been taking precautionary measures to keep ‘tantrum makers’ off the sets of their show. Read for details.
Zindagi Ki Mehek

Saurabh Tewari’s new show on Zee TV, Zindagi Ki Mehek launches tonight!! It will be heralded as a show that will depict the journey of a home maker.

Hmm, interesting concept...

But considering the fact that the show is to be exclusively shot in Delhi, there is already a growing concern looming large on the sets.

And the tantrum master in this case, happens to be the huge threat of dengue and chikungunya, caused by the dangerous mosquitoes.

As we know, Delhi has reported lot many cases of dengue and chikungunya in the last few days. And with Mehek’s shoot happening in the heart of Chandni Chowk which is actually the hub of the illness, people on the set have been falling sick and opting for breaks.

The latest casualty on the sets to chikungunya happens to be the Co-Producer of the show, Sumeet Chaudhary.

However, this has not de-motivated the production house. The team has been making sure that they adapt effective measures to ward off the mosquitoes.

A source on the set told us, “The production house has been seeing to it that the municipal staff uses the sprays every day. Also, it has been made mandatory for all present on sets to smear themselves adequately with Odomos. The repellent cream is being supplied to all on the set by the production house.”

However, with the area being rampantly affected by the mosquitoes, the cast and crew of the set have their fingers crossed when it comes to their health condition.

An actor on terms of anonymity confirmed the piece of news, and about the large scale measures taken to ward off the mosquitoes.

We too have our fingers crossed!! Stay away from mosquitoes, Team Mehek.
