Talented Tanya Sharma who essays the role of Meera in Star Plus' Saath Nibhana Saathiya (Rashmi Sharma Productions) is presently juggling between her high-voltage scenes and studies. With her board exams round the corner, the girl is making every second of hers count!! Tanya is giving her final year exams in BMM (Bachelor of Mass Media), and has just two days left for the exams to kick-start. Says the youngster, “I bring my study materials to my set. So whenever I get a break, I get into my books. I am very much excited as I will become a graduate soon.” Ask her how she has managed her classes along with her shoot, and she avers, “Well, it has been a year now, and I am pretty used to the schedule now. Whenever I don’t shoot, I attend my classes in college. And I take a break from my shoot when I have my internals in college. The going has been smooth, as even in the last semester, I was the fifth in class.” That’s nice, Tanya!! So what are plans for the future? “Well, I aspire to do my post graduation in PR. But I guess I will have to manage that with a correspondence course, as my acting career is also in full swing. I have always believed that I should not lose out on studies.” Talking about your journey as Meera in Saathiya, the actress explains, “Well, Meera has had so many shades to portray, from grey to positive. It has been a roller coaster journey for me. Having said this, there is a lot to play around with my character. The journey has been eventful to the core, is what I will say.” Tanya who is very passionate about dance wishes to work on it after her exams. “I have been trained at the Shiamak Davar Institute. I left that when I got busy with Saathiya.” So any thoughts of turning towards a dance reality show? “Not really. It’s just been a year into acting for me. I will want to concentrate on my acting career as of now. My acting will get me everything.” Girl, wish you all the best for your exams and journey ahead as actor!!
