MUMBAI: Television is evolving!

Apart from the dose of drama we get from daily shows, makers are trying out unconventional storylines.

One such story is Sony TV’s Tara From Satara. The show is like a breath of fresh air and is different from kitchen politics and mundane romantic sagas.

We got in touch with Roshni Walia, who is plays the titular role in the show.

Roshni has been quite choosy when it comes to taking up projects. The bubbly actress prefers staying away from the limelight and does not believe in hastily taking up shows.

In a candid chat with TellyChakkar, Roshni said, 'The reason I am very choosy in terms of work is that I want to experience and try out different things and don’t want to do monotonous work every day.'

Speaking about her show Tara From Satara, she said, 'The best thing about the show is that I’ve got to learn different abilities, like dancing. Tara has a lot of shades, and it’s fun to play this character. Most of the shows do not really offer this kind of flexibility to their character. Such characters are mostly at the same pace. So, I’m quite happy trying several kinds of things in the show.'

Elaborating more, the young actress shared, 'Tara From Satara offers so much to the audience. It has dance, drama, passion and so much more. Youngsters can relate to it, and there is also a message to parents that they shouldn’t ignore their children’s future and their passion. It has a perfect blend of drama and reality. I am so happy that my show is so realistic. Even my look... I am dressed like any other girl with no make-up. I am so elated that our show and our channel Spmy TV are marching towards changing the mindsets of people towards a daily soap by delivering extremely relatable content.'

'I remember shooting for a train sequence wherein my family travels in the Mumbai local for the first time. They experience the crowd and the pace of the city; that particular scene was so relatable as I felt exactly the same when I came to Mumbai for the first time. It's exciting to be a part of a project that is so relatable and dramatic at the same time,' she added

The show is high on values and follows an individual's dream. It does not have a specific negative lead. Talking about the same, Roshni added, 'One of the exciting factors of the show is that it doesn’t really have any particular specific negative lead. Nobody in the show is particularly conspiring to harm anyone unlike in other daily soaps.'

Needless to say, the unique and intriguing story of Tara From Satara has the audience hooked to it.
