Talented actor Tarun Singh recently moved out of Star Plus’ Nisha aur Uske Cousins seeking greener pastures. He essayed the husband of Dolly in the show.

We now hear that Tarun has been roped in to play son of Sachin Tyagi in Colors’ upcoming show, Swaragini, produced by Rashmi Sharma Productions.

Yes, the actor will be playing the elder brother of Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar. Also bagging her second show on Colors will be actress Namrata Pathak. Namrata was seen essaying the role of Shazia Fahad Abdullah in Beintehaa. She will essay the wife of Tarun in Swaragini, is what we get to hear.

When contacted, Tarun remained busy while Namrat refused to comment.

A reliable source states, “Tarun has a very meaty role in Swaragini, and hence he opted out of the Star Plus show. He will be seen as the angry young man, who would rebel against the principles and rules set by his father.”

Swaragini has Sachin Tyagi, Parineeta Borthakur, Alka Kaushal, Abhijit Lahiri playing pivotal roles.
