The stars came out that night, the night of 4 May 2013. And they lighted up the Chitrakoot Grounds in the Andheri west suburb of Mumbai. The occasion: the Twelfth Indian Telly Awards gala. They performed; they applauded; they received and presented awards they laughed and they made merry. It was their evening after all: the evening of India's finest and best from the world of television. And then it was time to head to the nearby suburban hotspot Firangi Paani, owned by Nisha Nichani to celebrate victories, down a few pegs, munch a few knick-knacks let one's hair down and shake your booties to some great electronic dance music. The event was supported by UB Group and Kingfisher Beer. Premiere entertainment website, Tellychakkar.com, part of the Indiantelevision,com group, was present at the do which everyone said was one of the best they had attended this year, thanks to the wonderful service provided by the hostess with the mostest - Nisha Nichani. The stars danced away into the night, until they could dance no more and yet they wanted more. When the bar was shut, and the sound console switched off, most of our friends from the world of television wanted to stay on and not leave. But leave we had to on account of government restrictions. Moving on, the bash saw a superb presence with renowned names gracing the occasion.
