MUMBAI: Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia is playing the lead character Meher Gill in Colors' Chhoti Sardarrni. The show has made her a household name. 

The beautiful actress is paired opposite Avinesh Rekhi who is seen as Sarabjit Gill on the show. 

Avinesh and Nimrit's on-screen pairing has worked wonders for the show. The duo's chemistry got better with time as the story progressed. Today Sarabjit and Meher are one of the most loved on-screen couples of the Telly world.

In an exclusive interview with TellyChakkar, we asked Meher about her onscreen pairing with Avinesh.   

The actress said, "The journey from the time we started working till now was pretty good. The good part is that it has progressed with time and it was not instant. I think that was the beauty of how these characters have grown as individuals and also towards each other." 

Well, Meher’s and Sarabjit's characters have seen lots of ups and downs in the show but are still together. The viewers simply love them as a couple and are expecting a lot more from them.
