MUMBAI: 2021 has just began! Lohri and Makar Sankranti being first few festivals of the new year, there is a lot of excitement in the air. These auspicious festivities are filled with love, laughter and joy, not to forget ample of sweets!  

Popular TV actress Sheen Dass who essays the role of pivotal character of ‘Cheenu’ in Sony Entertainment Television’s show Indiawaali Maa, also, celebrated Lohri and Sankranti with a lot of joy and love in the company of her family. 

Sharing her delight, Sheen Dass, said, “ I have fond memories of Lohri and Makarsakranti from my childhood. We used to light a bonfire at night, danced, flew kites on the terrace and gorge on sweets. Since I couldn’t celebrate with them all these years due to work, this time I made it a point to clear my schedule and celebrate with my family. We had a get-together where we laughed and ate till our hearts were full. We commemorated the occasion with a huge bonfire shaped chocolate cake! It was just like the childhood days. Moreover, we also celebrated the festival on the sets of Indiawaali Maa where we distributed sweets and told each other about our favourite Lohri and Makarsakranti memories from childhood.”
