The newly launched Balaji show Pyaar Ka Bandhan took a leap of 16 years a couple of days ago. The show will now focus on the grown up siblings. Karan Sharma and Lavanya Tripathi have already started shooting, while Kritika Kamra is still away enjoying her vacation and Mahesh Shetty is waiting to enter the show. Mahesh Shetty and Kritika Kamra who are playing the older siblings will make a late entry in the show. The production house is still searching for a male lead to be cast opposite Kritika Kamra, as both their entries will have to be at the same time. While Mahesh Shetty’s entry is expected in the coming week. A source informs, “The production house have not yet zeroed down on the character opposite Kritika and hence they are now focusing on the younger siblings as things have fallen in place for the younger siblings. Vivan Bhatena has been finalised to play Shashank, love interest of Aarina the youngest of all the four siblings”. Kritika Kamra was unavailable for comment. Coming to the younger siblings, Lavanya Tripathi plays Aarina the girl which gets adopted by one of the rich families and Karan Sharma plays Aziz the son of Aarina’s maid. Aziz looks after the family’s horses. Aziz is very fond of Aarina as she reminds him of his lost sister. He tries to be protective to her and looks after her but she mistakes his affection as advances. We called up Karan Sharma who said, “Yes, I play Aarina’s maid’s son in the show and she hates me a lot. I look at her as my sister, but she hates me so much that she never notices my care and affection for her.” He adds, “I have started shooting for the show and I am really enjoying doing my part. I am so happy to be the part of the show”. We hope that the production house finds a male lead opposite Kritika soon as we can’t wait to see the beautiful Kritika on this one.
