MUMBAI: Reality shows in India are quite popular among the viewers. They always manage to connect with the audiences and have recevied a great response from the viewers. Such shows pave a way for struggling, new, and aspiring artists to showcase their talent in front of the entire world. They also enjoy the limelight and as their talent gets recognized, they receive offers from the showbiz world. They climb the shows as their ladder of success. The latest trend is these reality show contestants returning on TV as judges. 

Here are a few reality show contestants who returned as judges of other reality shows.

1. Rannvijay Singh

The hottest hunk of the small screen got popularity after winning the first season of MTV Roadies and then there was no looking back for him. He became a VJ with MTV and went on to host shows like MTV Stuntmania, MTV Force India, Splitsvilla and many more. He is also seen becoming a panel of judges for MTV Roadies.  

2. Lauren Gottlieb

She is a popular face of Indian TV now. Lauren was a contestant on the third season of reality dance show So You Think You Can Dance and then took part in the sixth season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. She returned on TV as the Dance Guru in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7. 

3. Neha Kakkar

The popular singing sensation of our nation Neha was a part of Indian Idol season 2. Though she didn't win the show and was eliminated quite early, Neha has hosted two consecutive seasons of Indian Idol 10 and 11. She will also be seen hosting the season 12.

4. Shakti Mohan

Shakti won the season 2 of Dance India Dance and also participated in the seventh season Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. She was recently seen as a mentor in Star Plus’ dance reality show Dance + with Remo D’Souza as the maha mentor.

5. Prince Narula:

He won Roadies 12 and his career took off on a high note. The actor is now one of the gang leaders of many seasons of Roadies and is doing pretty well.

6. Punit Pathak

He rose to fame for being a contestant of Dance India Dance season 2 where he was the second runner up of the show. He also worked in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa as a choreographer for many celebrities in different seasons. Punit after so many years of struggle got the opportunity to be a judge for the first time in Dance India Dance Season 5.  

7. Dharmesh Yelande 

He is called India’s Michael Jackson and is known for participating in dance shows like Dance India Dance 2, Dance Li’l Masters and Dance Ke Superstars. Dharmesh has been as a mentor in Dance+ on Star Plus.  

8. Varun Sood

Varun is a hot favourite among fans. The handsome hunk won several praises for his stint in Roadies X2. Varun is right now of the gang leaders in Roadies Revolution.
