MUMBAI: The novel Coronavirus is rapidly spreading across the globe once again and many people have contracted the virus in the past few weeks.

We have been reporting about several TV celebrities who have tested Covid positive and how it has become an issue for the cast and crew of the shows to function smoothly.

Rajan Shahi's show Anupamaa's actors are going through the same.

A few weeks ago, Paras Kalnawat who plays the lead role of Samar Shah on the show was tested positive and had to take a break from his work.

After Rupali Ganguly, Sudhanshu Pandey, and Aashish Mehrotra, other cast members of the show including Nidhi Shah, Tassnim Nerurkar and Alpana Buch have also tested Covid positive.

This has become a huge problem for the makers as the creative team has to put in a lot of efforts to make the changes in the script at the last minute to ensure the smooth functioning of the show.

Anupamaa's screenplay writer Bhavna Vyas recently opened up about their situation. Bhavna had a question and answer session on Instagram where she was asked by one of the fans how they are dealing with this situation.

Here's what she replied:

Well, we saw how Aashish, Rupali, and Sudhanshu made appearances on the show even after being at home quarantine. The trio was seen doing some scenes through video calls which let the show get going.

With three actors of the show being tested positive once again, it would be a challenge for the makers to bring in the new twist in the story.
