MUMBAI: The popular mobile application TikTok has been banned but the platform paved the way for success for many young talents. But along with fame comes responsibility and often, the TikTok stars got themselves involved in controversies because of their ‘irresponsible’ contents.

1. Mr. Faisu aka Faisal Shaikh

Faisal Shaikh aka Mr.Faisu was one of the most popular celebrity on the app. He continues to rule the hearts of millions on several platforms. The actor along with his team made a video on mob-lynching incident in Jharkhand. Their video was called anti-national because of which their TikTok ids were suspended. Later, after Faisu’s ID was recovered, he made a video on lockdown which was also opposed as it was said that the video promotes the violation of lockdown rules laid by the government.

2. Amir Siddiqui

Amir Siddiqui represented the TikTok community in the popular TikTok versus YouTube debate.   Many people opposed Amir’s thoughts.

3. Faizal Siddiqui

Amir’s brother Faizal Siddiqui landed himself in trouble because of a video which was said to promote acid attacks on women.

4. Adnan Khan

Adnan helped his friends to fight from a group of goons. The incident was recorded and the clips went viral which portrayed him as a hooligan. However, he clarified his stance later.

5. Riyaz Ali

Riyaz is also one of the very popular faces who gained momentum with TikTok. The actor landed himself in trouble recently for driving a car despite being under age.
