TV cannot be taken seriously: Aryan Vaid

Aryan Vaid

Bollywood actor Aryan Vaid who was last seen in Colors’ Udann, feels that work on TV is not to be taken seriously.

Aryan, who has been part of a huge show like Bigg Boss feels that TV cannot make or break one’s career. Says the actor, “I will never take TV seriously, as people watch an actor on screen for just five minutes and then move on to the next show. Having said this, I always do my best when I have taken some project. But I don’t consider it as a matter of life and death. You can play an 80 years old man today, and then go on to essay a 35 years old next year.”

The actor gets offered quite a lot of roles on TV, and what surprises him is that he has been offered all the mythological shows that have been on air at some point of time. “I am not very comfortable wearing those attires; hence mytho is not what I will prefer. I got to be part of a story of Jaanbaaz Sindbad, but that was only for a month or so.”

Aryan who has moved to the USA few years back keeps juggling between his new abode and India. “I am placed in a very tricky situation. In the last seven years, I have not been able to decide whether I like settling in India or in the USA. When I am in India, I miss US, and vice versa.”

Talking about TV in India, Aryan shares, “I seriously do not foresee someone making good shows like Karamchand or Office Office.”

Ask him whether he will not take up TV anymore and he says, “See, TV is good as you make quick money, especially the episodics. In future, I might finally accept a mythological role.”

Wish you luck, Aryan!!
