Shaheer Sheikh, we can say is the new blue-eyed boy of television!! And we are not saying this just for the heck of it, as he seems to be the first choice of many productions houses for their upcoming shows. Also, his huge female fan following speaks volumes about his popularity.
Well, after winning many a hearts with his lead role in Navya, Shaheer went on to bag the prestigious role of Arjun in Swastik Productions’ magnum opus presentation on Star Plus, Mahabharat. Also, he was supposed to play the role of King Ashoka, if Swastik Productions’ project on this historical leader had happened. However, with a show on Ashoka being produced by Contiloe Telefilms now, Shaheer decided to take a different and interesting project.

Now, the news coming in is that Shashi-Sumeet Productions has offered him the lead role in their upcoming Life OK show.
A highly placed source says, “Shaheer is one of the finest actors we have on TV. Shashi-Sumeet Productions will be coming up with a unique love story for Life OK. And they are presently in talks with the actor. Along with Shaheer, Khalid Siddiqui who is presently seen in Maharakshak Aaryan on Zee TV and Tum Saath Ho Jab Apne on Sony Pal has also been finalized for a pivotal role.”
Though Shaheer has not signed on the dotted lines as he is presently out of India, he seems to be keen on taking on the project, is what we get to hear.
