Aadesh Chaudhary currently seen as Vikrant on Colors’ Sasural Simar Ka (Rashmi Sharma Productions) is unhappy with his ongoing track.

As seen so far, the current plot draws influence from the epic Ramayana where Simar of course is Sita, her husband Prem is Ram and Vikrant, her lover, is Ravan.

Now, Aadesh is not too happy with this sudden change in his character and storyline.

“The creatives these days find it hard to sustain a character hence; they either turn it negative or kill it. The only thing that I don’t like happening on Sasural is Vikrant turning negative. He wasn’t a bad man. He was just crazy in love and that does not make him a disrespectful person. All of a sudden he has started disrespecting women and murdering people. How can someone change so suddenly? I know it’s my job to enact what I am asked to as an actor but I find this drastic change in Vikrant hard to digest,” confessed Aadesh.

He further went on to add, “I am also not happy with the scenes that I am getting because my fans keep questioning me as to why is Vikrant behaving the way he is? How do I answer it? For good five months everyone liked me being with Simar. The fans were liking the chemistry but then came the change.”

Over the years many artists have quit over creative dissatisfaction. Do you plan to do the same? “The track is going to end anyway. If you look at Ramayana Ravan dies at the end. These days daily soaps are simply business. There is no creativity and one can go to any length to bag TRPs. There was a time when a character's values would remain the same from the start to end but gone are those days.”

Hence, the artist plans on concentrating on films hereon. “I have a film in the pipeline and I’ll begin shooting for the same soon. But it’s unfortunate that Vikrant's role will end in such a manner."

We wish him all the luck.
