MUMBAI : Zee TV’s popular show Qubool Hai is soon returning with a new season and the rebooted version will continue to star Karan Singh Grover and Surbhi Jyoti in the lead roles. The show will have a digital launch on ZEE5.

Early in the day, we broke the news about Gul Khan who helmed the show will not be producing the sequel. As we broke the news about renowned writer Mrinal Jha, who is quite veteran in industry and has also produced a show Kaali – Ek Agnipariksha on Star Plus, has come on board to finance the show under her banner NAJ Productions.

Now, we hear that actor Vaquar Shaikh and Nehalaxmi Iyer who were part of Qubool Hai, are most likely getting retained for the rebooted version.

Vaquar played the role of Azad’s (KSG) father while Nehalaxmi played Rashid and Dilshad’s daughter. Apparently, the talks are on with both the actors and makers also quite keen to have them on board.

We couldn’t get through both the actors for a comment.

As per reports, even Shalini Kapoor who had essayed the role of Dilshad Rashid Ahmed Khan on the show, has been approached by its makers again for a role in the show’s upcoming season.

The shooting for the same is expected to begin sometime in October.
