Colors' popular show Sasural Simar Ka (Rashmi Sharma Productions) will now see the element of youth and romance with the 10 years leap. Tellychakkar.com has already reported exclusively about Yeh Rishta fame Vaishali Takkar playing the role of Anjali, Simar and Prem's daughter post leap. Now we hear of young lad Varun Sharma, last seen in Colors' Udann joining the ensemble cast as Piyush, Simar's son. Piyush would be upset about being misunderstood by his father Prem (Dheeraj Dhoopar) and will blame his mother Simar (Dipika Kakar) for getting separated from his father. However the young lad will later on want to go back to his father to set things right for him and his mother. Also entering the show will be Nikki Sharma of Dahleez fame. After essaying the role of Radhika in the Star show, the girl will play the character of Roshni, daughter of Kapoors (Rushad Rana and Jaswir Kaur). Roshni will be a very bubbly girl who woul be practically brought up by Simar. She will have lot of respect for Simar and will call her Choti Maa. A new guy by name Abhinandan will play Rohan, son of Kapoors. Also joining the cast will be Vishal Bhardwaj, last seen in Krishndasi. He will play a rich brat in the college where Anjali would be studying. When contacted, Varun said, "Nothing is confirmed yet." Nikki confirmed her entry but chose not to talk further. We could not get in touch with Vishal for a comment. We buzzed the channel spokesperson but did not receive revert till the time of filing the story.
