MUMBAI: Actresses are often envied for their flawless makeup. Makeup also holds high importance when it comes to mythological shows as the looks generally involve heavy makeup and vibrant looks. Actress Madirakshi Mundle who recently joined the cast of Sony Entertainment Television’s Vighnaharta Ganesh has splurged out her makeup secret. Madirakshi is a known face in industry and has been seen in various mythological shows. All her roles including that in Vighnaharta Ganesh require heavy makeup but Madirakshi who feels that using alot of synthetic products is not good for skin and always uses home-made makeup products.

Madirakshi prepares her own Kajal and lipshades at home which she carries with her to the set for her on-screen makeup too. “I have always seen my mother preparing home-made products for herself and I am just taking the legacy forward. Home-made products reduce the chances of skin infections and some ingredients even have anti-bacterial values. Therefore, these are safe option especially if one has sensitive skin or if one has to apply makeup on a regular basis for long period of time. For my look in Vighnaharta Ganesh, I always carry my home-made makeup products to the set so that, my skin has no adverse effects from the use of synthetic products,” revealed Madirakshi.
