Bodhi Tree Productions will now bring a sweet love tale between a Punjabi munda and a firangi girl in Bindass’ Yeh Hai Aashiqui. Enacting the Punjabi guy’s role will be noted actor Vipul Roy, and playing his love interest will be USA based girl Katherine.
The story will revolve around the mission of Stephanie (Katherine) who would come from abroad to solve a human trafficking case and get evidences against a particular person. In this bargain, she would befriend the local tourist guide in Punjab, by name Gilti (Vipul). Initially, she would use him as a pawn to getting her work done, but later with the man knowing her motive, he would fully get into the task of helping her. The story would revolve around the way in which Gilti and Stephanie would get evidences, only to get into trouble. The duo would fall in love in the process, and the man would vow to save the girl from all the danger that she would encounter.
We hear that this love tale will have a rather sad ending.
When contacted, Vipul Roy who was last seen in SAB TV’s FIR said, “Yes, I am shooting for this episodic of Yeh Hai Aashiqui. It is a very interesting love tale between a Punjabi guy and a firang.”
This particular episode is expected to go on air in the first week of September.
