MUMBAI: Producer Mahesh Pandey bringing a new show titled Khandaan on Star Bharat.
Post Yeh Vadaa Raha, actresses Sonal Vengurlekar and Rinku Dhawan are re-uniting with this show. Sonal will play the female protagonist while Rinku will be seen as her mother.
TellyChakkar has learnt actor Vishal Bharadwaj, who has been part of shows like Itti Si Khushi, Krishnadasi, Silsila Pyaar Ka and Sasural Simar Ka, has bagged the show. We hear that in the show, Vishal and Sonal will be shown dating however with the show progressing, Sonal’s character will get married to the character of Satya Tiwari.
Khandaan will also star Hiten Tejwani as the male lead while Parineeta Borthakur has been roped in to play the heroine opposite Hiten.
As per reports, the show is set in Uttar Pradesh and will revolve around a joint family and its values.
