MUMBAI: Vishal Dadlani is a renowned playback singer.
While he has lent his voice for innumerable Bollywood songs, he is also a lyrist and music composer and currently the host of popular singing reality show Indian Idol 12. The powerhouse of talent recently shocked his fans and followers on social media when he posted a picture of himself and captioned it as how that picture would be a low resolution picture which would be framed at his funeral, his followers were shocked and thought that he might take a strong action.
Over the past year until now, there are a lot of people dying due to covid -19 and to top it all, there have been depressing news about many people including a lot of popular industry faces committing suicide. The followers started commenting and asked him not to think negatively about life while Vishal seemed to just be generally posting it as he replied to a netizen who asked him not to talk all of this that this is what his mother would say.
His post read:

This looks like it could be the low-res picture blown up to fit in a big frame at my funeral. No?
(Arre, I'm not being morbid! That's just what I thought when I saw the picture! And I don't believe in this shubh-ashubh nonsense. It's just a statement. I mean no disrespect to those who have lost people, or to those who have left us. Death is a big deal, but I see no reason to fear it, or to tiptoe around the understanding that it will come to us all. At least this way, I've picked my own picture!)
