MUMBAI: TV actress Reem Shaikh, who is currently seen in Zee TV's Tujhse Hai Raabta, confirmed her exit from the show to one of the leading media portals, recently. Reem has been associated with the show as Kalyani for 2-years and her decision definitely left her fans upset. 

However, within two days, the actress changed her mind and issued a statement informing she is not leaving the show and will continue to play Kalyani on the show. Well, this definitely raised a lot of eyebrows.

Reem who is being loved by the audience was in the mood to explore something new in terms of work. In fact, the pretty actress had also bagged a project in hand but the channel convinced her to stay back in the show.

A source told a media portal, "Reem was finalised opposite Param Singh for Sony TV's new show. The show is being produced by Gul Khan and it's a romantic show. However, at the last moment Reem stepped back from the opportunity as her ongoing show makers convinced her to stay back."

We tried contacting Reem's father to get confirmation on this but he chose not to reply.

Giving the reason for not leaving the show, Reem maintained, "Further to a lot of speculation around my leaving Tujhse Hai Raabta, I would like to clear the air and reassure my fans that I intend to continue doing the show. The character of Kalyani is extremely close to my heart and there's a gripping narrative still waiting to unfold in the show's upcoming plot. Yes, I recently had a discussion with the show's makers about certain creative aspects but we have been able to iron out any differences and arrive at a fruitful consensus. I am very happy with the way my character is currently shaping up and can't wait for my fans' reactions to the new twists they're about to see."
