MUMBAI: Eternal Flame Production’s upcoming film, ‘Choices’, is a dark humor that talks about an ideal couple living an idyllic life until the lockdown unlocks secrets they have been hiding. It’s about their journey and experience through the lockdown, where everything depends on the choices they make.

Producer and director, Damini K Shetty, talks us through the thought behind the name of the movie, which comes from her personal belief that ‘we are the choices we make’.

“We blame our circumstances, our upbringing, and everything in between, whereas, in reality, it’s the choices we make that shape us into the person we are today. We choose our life partner, we choose to get married, to stay together, to have an affair, to hide that affair, we choose to stay or leave, we choose to keep quiet or raise our voice - life is all about the choices we make. That’s where the name sprung from.”

From casting for the film to getting a team together, to shooting, editing, etc, everything has been done remotely and under lockdown. This is the first complete lockdown film from Eternal Flame Production.

“This experience of shooting a film under lockdown has been so exciting. We have a newfound respect for ourselves for managing without a team. You realize if you decide to do something nothing can stop you or your creativity from getting it done,” says, Damini.
