This is one delightful couple which has entertained the masses together! They caught- the- eye with their hips swaying to groovy numbers in Nach Baliye and also set the house on fire in Bigg Boss. And now they are back to set you rolling on the floor laughing with their show Badi Dooooor Se Aaye Hai on SAB TV. In a free-wheeling chat with Tellychakkar.com, Tanaaz and Bakhtiyaar Irani speak about their comeback on television with Hats Off Productions’ Badi Doooor Se Aaye Hai. The adorable couple is thrilled to be back and painted a word picture of their character in the show. Bakhtiyaar Irani shedding some light on his character in the show shares, “I am playing the role of Ronnie D’Souza and I have Tanaaz who is playing my wife. There is so much that I have in common with Ronnie’s character. I am a no-nonsense and short- tempered person and so is Ronnie. His wife Liza is the calming factor who brings about a contrast in his life and it is the same with Tanaaz in real life too. And of course there is Anna, his sister who is the apple of his eye. Ronnie’s character for me has so much to do and well I can get angry whenever I want to.”(laughs) That’s a perk for getting into the character! Isn’t it? Well, Tanaaz is excited to work with her husband on-screen again. Here is what she says. “I am playing the role of Liza D’Souza. We are the neighbors of the alien family. Liza is a ballet teacher and loves cooking. She accepts people the way they are. She pampers her husband too. She is the peacemaker and calming factor. She justifies and defends everybody. There are a lot more things but I don’t really want to give it away. You have to watch the show.” She also adds up saying, “I think Aatish (producer Aatish Kapadia) has installed a camera in our house because Ronnie and Liza are exactly like Tanaaz and Bhaktiyaar” (laughs). In a message to all their viewers who are looking forward to seeing them back on-screen, the fabulous couple quips, “Our chemistry will be back on-screen, all thanks to our fans. We are humbled. Since Nach Baliye we are one of the few couples who have survived. So touch wood! It does shed light on the fact that we are still saleable. We are back after a break from television. We planned a family, had kids and got time to concentrate on them. We also started our own T&B Dance institute. We are extremely happy and thrilled to be back. We would just say that we are working very hard to give viewers the best of comedy we can do together. Hope you guys enjoy it!” We wish Tanaaz and Bakhtiyaar all the very best!
