MUMBAI: Mouni Roy's romance with businessman Suraj Nambiar has surfaced a lot of headlines, which also saw her spending a lot of time in Dubai where her to-be-dulha Suraj and his family stay.
Mouni and Suraj first met each other on New Year's Eve of 2019 in a nightclub in Dubai not through common friends but as strangers. The couple decided to tie the knot in W Goa Hotel.
The two families - Roys and Nambiars- debated quite a bit on Rajasthan and Goa, ultimately for some reason, they felt that Goa would be a better option.

Mouni will shuttle between Dubai and Mumbai at times but the couple has also bought a big flat in the same building where Mouni stays currently. The interiors are being done at a fast pace.
Mandira Bedi, Aashka Goradia, Meet Bros, choreographers Rahul and Pratik, and designer Anu Khurana are definitely reaching Goa. The wedding is on January 27 but the guests will start trickling into hotels in Goa from January 23.

Reportedly, there was no parental opposition from the Nambiars and Roys. In fact, the Nambiars took an instant liking for their to-be daughter-in-law. Suraj's mother Renuka Nambiar and father Raja Nambiar have clicked many pictures with her. Suraj's brother Neeraj and his wife have become very good friends with Mouni.
The dance rehearsals for the sangeet party are being done in Mumbai, as you read this.
