MUMBAI : The promo of Star Plus’ upcoming show Anupamaa looks promising.

While Yeh Rishte Hai Pyaar Ke and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai have been blockbuster hits, looks like producer Rajan Shahi plans to create a hattrick with the launch of his upcoming presentation Anupamaa on Star Plus. The show's launch was postponed due to the lockdown.

Anupamaa is a remake of his ongoing Marathi show, Aai Kuthe Kay Karte. The show will star talented actor Rupali Ganguly and Sudhanshu Pandey in the lead roles. As per the storyline, homemaker Anupamaa has dedicated her life for her family but she doesn't get valued for it. She is always taken for granted. However, she tries to be happy despite not being appreciated.

While the promos of the show piqued the interest and excitement of the audience, Anupamaa will see the light of day from 13 July at 10 pm.

Well there are some reasons why we are looking forward to watching the show.

Firstly, the show will witness the return of the immensely talented Monisha of television- Rupali Ganguly! She is paired opposite Sudhanshu Pandey and it will be exciting to see how Rupali will portray the character which is in a different light.

It is safe to say that actor Rupali Ganguly plays the perfect housewife keeping the character’s innocence intact. All three promos showcase the different relationship that she shares with her husband, teenage daughter and son. We see her taking care of their every need, while we see them deprecating her and asking her to stay away.

How Anupamaa manages to balance the different relationships in the family and how the story proceeds further and her family realizes her importance is something worth waiting for.
