But very few are aware of the fact that the man Sunny is seen getting steamy with is none other than television actor, Karan Mehra, seen in Balaji’s Zee TV project Pavitra Rishta. One lucky man, we say. It must have been one helluva sexperience. How did Karan feel to smooch Sunny in the shower? Was he coy or did he let his manhood dominate the indomitable sexual aura of Sunny? For answers, we called up the handsome lad. “Initially I thought it will be a normal make-out scene but later I got to know it will be a proper shower sequence where I had to kiss Sunny (Leone). It was my first on-screen kiss and I was very nervous. But all thanks to Sunny, she made it very simple for me. Before the promos went on air I didn’t tell anyone about my shower scene in the movie. I was too shy but as soon as the video went viral I started getting calls from my friends and family and they all appreciated my bold move. Now my friends tease me and also laugh about it but in a healthy way.” Nice!!! He continued, “It took 2 to 3 takes with different camera angles to get the perfect shot. But creative team was very supportive and made the scene enactment very easy and comfortable.” So how was his experience shooting with Sunny? “She is a brilliant human being. She is a very bubbly kind of a girl and talks to everybody from an actor to a spot boy. She has no airs whatsoever.” He is indeed impressed by the Baby Doll. Moving on, we asked him how he bagged the role? “I bagged this role six months ago before Pavitra Rishta happened. I gave audition for this role and the director loved my work and later Ekta (Kapoor) took a final call and zeroed down on me for this character.” What’s the role all about? “I will be seen in the entire movie but in bits and parts. I am playing myself in the movie i.e. a television actor.” Karan, is a married man in real life. So how did his wife react after seeing all the heat under the shower? “Initially she was apprehensive about it but later I made her understand that it’s a good film with a good banner and good people. It’s not only about the shower scene but my entire performance in the film. You won’t believe now Sunny is in both of our BBMs (laughs).” So is he open to more kissing scenes? “I don’t mind if script demands it. But it should be in a performance oriented project.” His final words before closing, “I would request everyone to watch the film and experience the colours of Ragini MMS.
