The news went viral where the media chose to churn out their versions to a factual piece written by TellyChakkar. Jaya too rubbished rumours and clarified her stance on how the portals used her genuine problem for their two bits of publicity along with an elongated post on social media–

TellyChakkar takes complete responsibility for the article that has been published on our website and we vouch for the fact that we did not mean bad. As Jaya, very rightly mentioned in her Facebook post, there are some publications which have blown things out of proportions that turned our reality into a derogatory piece of farce.

We, as a news website take it to be our duty to bring forth the on-goings in the television industry.

In our news report, we mentioned nothing about Jaya pleading or begging for work. Our piece of news was clearly overtly dramatised.

All we can say is instead of making mountains out of mole hills we as journalists should be inclined towards bringing out the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth in its barest form in front of the world.  It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to state that such articles are tantamount to defamation and TellyChakkar thoroughly denounces such vile and research-wise unchaste journalistic pieces.
